By downloading or using Click Camera (the "App"), these terms apply to you automatically. Please make sure you read them carefully before using the App.
This agreement is between you and the developer of the App, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
1. Copyright and Trademarks
You may not copy or modify the App, any part of the App, or our marks in any way. You may not extract the source code of the App, translate it into other languages, or make derivative versions. The App itself, together with all trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property related to it, belongs to the developer of the App.
2. Age Restriction
The App is intended for users aged 4 and above. Users under 4 should use it under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
3. Your Content
You own the copyright in every photo, Live Photo, and video you capture with the App. We never receive this content and accept no legal responsibility for it; you are solely responsible for what you capture.
You agree not to use the App to capture or record anything that breaks the law or infringes the privacy, likeness, trade secrets, or other lawful rights of others.
4. Expiration and Automatic Deletion (Important)
This is the App's core mechanism, and you should understand it before you rely on the App: every item in the App is deleted automatically and permanently once its retention period ends. The default retention period is 7 days, changeable in Settings to 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
Expiration is intended behavior, not a malfunction. By using the App you acknowledge and accept this.
The related facts:
(a) The App has no trash or recycle bin; once an item is deleted or expired it cannot be retrieved in the App;
(b) The App provides no cloud backup or sync, and your content is excluded from iCloud backup, so it will not transfer to a new device;
(c) We hold no copy of your content and therefore cannot restore deleted or expired items under any circumstances;
(d) Uninstalling the App erases all of its local data.
If you need to keep something, save it to your system photo library or export it before it expires. You bear the risk of any data loss resulting from expiration, manual deletion, uninstalling the App, or a lost or damaged device, and we accept no legal liability for it.
5. Recognition Results Are for Reference Only
The App performs on-device text recognition on your photos and attempts to extract key details such as passwords, tracking numbers, spot numbers, times, and places, so you can read them from the Lock Screen. These results may be wrong or incomplete — similar-looking characters can be misread, for instance. Treat them as a convenience and rely on the original image as the source of truth. We accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from reliance on recognition results.
6. Use of the App
While we work to keep every feature of the App current and free of errors, we make no warranty as to its accuracy or reliability and accept no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss you suffer through relying entirely on any function of the App.
7. App Updates and System Updates
We may update the App from time to time. The App is currently available on iOS (system requirements may change), and you may need to download updates to keep using it. We do not promise to keep updating the App or to keep it available on your device. Even where you have agreed to accept updates whenever we offer them, we may stop providing the App and may terminate your use of it at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination:
(a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end;
(b) you must stop using the App and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
8. Payment and Subscriptions
The App is free to download and try: new users receive a number of free captures (photos, Live Photos, and videos counted together). Once that allowance is used, a Click Camera Pro subscription is required to capture anything new. The paywall limits new captures only — items you have already captured are unaffected and remain viewable, exportable, shareable, and savable to your system photo library. The free allowance is counted cumulatively; deleting or expiring an item does not refund it.
Click Camera Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription on a yearly and a monthly plan. The exact price, billing period, and trial terms are those shown to you on the App Store purchase sheet, and may vary by country or region.
Regarding auto-renewal: a subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of that period. If your plan includes a free trial, you will be charged the corresponding price automatically when the trial ends, and you may cancel at any time before then at no cost. Note that free trial eligibility is managed by Apple per Apple ID and subscription group, and is generally available only once within the same group.
All payments for the App are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Subscriptions section of your Apple ID settings: Manage or cancel subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
If you are unhappy with a purchase, you may request a refund from Apple within the period Apple allows: Request a refund. If you run into trouble purchasing or subscribing, App Store Support can help.
9. Privacy
For how the App handles information, see the Privacy Policy. In short: your content stays on your device, and we collect no personal information about you.
10. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
We may update these terms from time to time, so you are advised to review this page periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page, and those changes take effect immediately upon posting.
